Zakarpattia (Transcarpathians) region is the youngest in Ukraine. A poetic and scenic Mezhgorie is situated between the mountains Borzhava and Krasnaya. Mountains occupy the largest part of the region with the highest altitude of 1719 m, mountain Strimba. Beauty of the mountain forests, fur and beech woods with conifer and herb aroma, variety of healing mineral waters are natural recourses which made this place attractive for tourists in any season. The most viewed attractions of Mezhgorie is a “Sea Eye of the Carpathians ” – lake Sinevir; one of the most attractive in Carpathians waterfall Shipot. And also Tereble-Ritskaya hydropower station which united waters of two rivers in one tunnel of 4-km long.
