Named after the outstanding Russian surgeon Pyrogov, Saksky TSVKS (Central Military Clinical Sanatorium) was founded in 1922. Situated on the shore of Saki healing lake of a balneological seaside resort, the sanatorium is set in natural reserve park area of 17 hectares.

Trees and shrubberies of European, Asian and North American flora adorn this spacious and unique park. Saksky TSVKS offers high quality medical services. One of the principle treatment factors is curative mud of the Saki lake, used for treatment of various diseases.

One of the unique natural treatment factors of the resort is a thermal mineral water well on the territory of the sanatorium resort. Its chemical composition is similar to one of the famous mineral water Essentuky-4.

Contradictions against sanatorium treatment:
- Any disease in acute stage, chronic exacerbation diseases, complicated by acute suppurative process;

- Mental illness, all forms of alcoholism or drug addictions, epilepsy;
- Malignant neoplasms. Cancer curative therapy patients (post – surgery / radiotherapy /  chemotherapy / complex therapy). The patients in satisfactory health can only undergo rehabilitation treatment at the local sanatorium;
- Cachexia any origin;
- Echinococcosis;
- Repetitive bleeding of various origin;
- Obstetric pathology in all stages of pregnancy;
- Cardiovascular disease in the stage of decompensation;
- Normal pregnancy in any stage;
- Post partum and lactation period;
- All forms of tuberculosis in an active stage.

Gyneacological Diseases
• Female infertility (primary and secondary).
• Chronic salpingitis and oophoritis (no earlier than 4 weeks after an exacerbation on condition of normal temperature, the absence of significant changes in the leucocyte count and erythrocyte sedimentation rate).
• Chronic parametritis and perimetritis.
• adhesions in the pelvis (after suffering inflammation in the pelvis after surgery for an ectopic pregnancy, inflammatory diseases of the tubes and ovaries).
• Chronic metritis and perimetritis.
• Post inflammation at incorrect position of the uterus.
• Infantilism, hypoplasia of the uterus.
• Ovarium  hypothyroidism, menstrual disorder (hypo-or amenorrhea) as a consequence of the inflammatory process.

Urologic Diseases
• Chronic prostatitis, prostatocystitis, uretroprostatitis, calculous prostatitis, chronic vesiculitis (non-specific nature) in remission, without the strictures of the urethra and without residual urine.

• Polyneuropathy of various origins in remission, partial remission (3-4 months after an exacerbation), on condition of self-servicing patient who is able to self-move.
• Dorsopathies vertebral and non-vertebral: back and neck pains, on condition of self-servicing patient who is able to self-move.
• The state after the removal of herniated discs, benign tumors of the spinal cord on condition of self-servicing patient who is able to self-move, without compromising the function of the pelvic organs.

• The consequences of injuries of peripheral nerves and plexus, and suturing the nerve trunks without squeezing it, 2 months after injury or surgery.
• Consequences of neuro-infections  (encephalitis, myelitis, arachnoiditis) 4-6 months after the acute period, on condition of self-servicing patient, non-infringement of the pelvic organs, epileptiform paroxysm.
• The consequences of spinal cord injury without obvious movement disorders, while maintaining self-service, self-movement of the patient without a wheelchair, no violations of the pelvic organs, bedsores 4 months after injury or surgery.
• The consequences of lung closed brain injury in the form of asthenic-neurotic syndrome, autonomic dysfunction with no epileptiform paroxysms, and mental disorders in 4-6 months after the injury.
