At the slope of  Vigorlat – Gutinsky Mountain Chain, a Health Resort / Sanatorium Shayan is set 210 meters above sea level.  Distance from Shayan to the town of  Hust is 18 km.  The sanatorium is situated on the left bank of the river Tisza in a lovely valley stretching 10 km forward.  Resort area surrounded by Shayan Mountains was named Ukrainian Switzerland for its beauty. The resort is featured by mild climate without cold winds. Annual average temperatures is + 8,7 C. July and August are the warmest months. Mineral water Sayanskaya No 4, No 242 is used for medical treatment (drinking and baths) this water is similar by its characteristics to world-known Borjomi, Essentuki, Vichy-Celestin.  Duration of the treatment course is 12- 24 days.

Accommodation is offered in two buildings: 

Building No 1:

Twin standard rooms (1 roomed) and Double Suites  (2-roomed)

Building No 2:

Twin rooms (1 roomed) and Double / Triple Suites  (2-roomed)

• Twin standard room (1 roomed, there are 60 rooms, total square is 18 sq.m.)
  Room amenities: twin beds, a bathroom unit (shower, washbasin, toilet), TV set, refrigerator, a balcony.
• Double Suite (1-roomed, there are 3 rooms, total square is 24 rooms)
  Room amenities: a bathroom unit (shower, washbasin, toilet), a set of furniture, TV set, refrigerator.
• Double Suite (2-roomed, there are 12 rooms, total square is 38 rooms)
  Room amenities: a bathroom unit (shower, washbasin, toilet), a set of furniture, TV set, refrigerator.
  Room amenities: a double bed (160-200 cm) or two single beds (size 120 х 200 cm), a bathroom unit (shower cubicle, washbasin, toilet), satellite TV, mini-safe, mini bar, a telephone, Wi-Fi Internet. There is an exit to the balcony.

Four meals a day, dietary menu.

Cold and hot water is available 24-hour.

Sanatorium is specialized in treatment of the following diseases:

Sport inventary hire shop, health path, mini lift (300 m).
A rope tow ski lift is operatinf (m. Loposh). The lift is 300 meter long; 30 m width.

Optionally our guests are welcome to use infrastructure and facilities of other health resorts such as sanatorium "Visak," sanatorium "Carpathia, Medical Recreational Center Shayan (of UkrainianArmed Forces) which are located next to the sanatorium MRC Shayan. Indoor swimming pool located in 15 meters from the sanatorium is provided on optional bases.

The main curative factor of the sanatorium Shayan  is hydrocarbonate-sodium mineral water Shayanskaya - 4 and  Shayanskaya - 242  with a high concentration of silicone, it has the same characteristics as well-known mineral waters "Borjomi", "Essentuki" and "Vichy-Seleston (France). Shayanskaya water also contains hydrocarbonate and silicic acid.
